My blog is not about politics, but I can’t resist just one rant on this quote from the ”great hope of change” of the democratic party and liberal news media.
…we can’t forget this quote from Obama’s book Audacity of Hope
“I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.”
This guy is being given serious consideration for the office of presidency by a frightening portion of our voting population, and he would “stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction”. Who is he trying to kid? How stupid is this American sector who buys into this guy’s speak? The political winds are already ugly! I guess it goes unsaid who Obama is standing with and for already! He says he’s all about change. Yes, he is about change and would change the course of America! Of that, he speaks the truth. Our Muslim enemies consider the United States of America “the great Satan”. Obama stands with them. That says it all.
Obama does have audacity! He is so intent on change, he should consider a change in the title of his shameful book if it goes to a second printing…The Audacity of Obama!
Until next time…
remember…
Associate yourself with men of good quality if you esteem your own reputation; for ’tis better to be alone than in bad company.
~George Washington
Obama should have!

THIS MANS FAKE SMILE AND LYING TONGUE IS DECEIVING ALOT OF AMERICANS
He’s definitely a charmer…
Full quote:
“Of course, not all my conversations in immigrant communities follow this easy pattern. In the wake of 9/11, my meetings with Arab and Pakistani Americans, for example, have a more urgent quality, for the stories of detentions and FBI questioning and hard stares from neighbors have shaken their sense of security and belonging. They have been reminded that the history of immigration in this country has a dark underbelly; they need specific reassurances that their citizenship really means something, that America has learned the right lessons from the Japanese internments during World War II, and that I will stand with them should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.”
He’s talking about standing with Americans, to prevent a misdirected anti-Muslim bias from denying these Americans their constitutionally-guaranteed civil liberties.
John, he is talking of standing with a particular group of Americans…and the political winds have shifted in an ugly direction. I am one of those “bitter Americans” he referred to a few weeks back. He does not and will not stand for me, because he cannot stand for both.
just my humble opinion.
Sure, and that’s fine. But the original misquote that is circulating the internet suggests that he will side with America’s enemies the first chance he gets. The meaning of the quote is different in full context (and with the proper words restored).
Understood, John.
Obama seems to think he can read between the lines of statements others make and infer their intent and meaning. He doesn’t own the exclusive right to do so.
Amen ! While I cannot see into the future , and I don’t know exactly what will happen if this man is allowed to take the office of president , I do know that it can’t be good . He is two-faced . Double tongued . He’ll say what ever he needs to say to please the crowd at hand , and I can’t beleive the America I know and love would fall for it . God have mercy on us all !
Jolee, I’m afraid the United States are in for some trying days ahead. Dark is an appropriate adjective. It seems like a vast number of people want to be duped. Following O. Hussein is a perfect example of the blind leading the blind…
What really blows my mind is the number of so-called Christians who are behind him.
Then again…the options aren’t very good all the way around.
Evenso, come quickly, Lord Jesus.
