Hi Tammy,

Thank you!

The lining is one thing that makes this pattern special. It's so difficult to find cotton slips these days. I can't stand synthetics, and this pattern makes wearing a slip unnecessary. In fact, it would be overkill.

Yes, my DH was reluctant, but alas, we live alone with our dogs, and he was elected. He really was a good sport. :)

The skirt turned out perfectly (isn't that lining nice? you can choose as thin a fabric as you want to keep the skirt from feeling too hot.) I imagine that fabric is nice and soft! And that apron is ADORABLE as is the model. I laughed when I saw the first modeling , body language says a little reluctant. Wonderful work Judy!

Heather, we can't beat the vintage sheet fabric for price. I'm loving this one, too. And...I picked up another piece yesterday that will likely be my next skirt with this pattern.

Good to see you, Liz. I'll check out that site. I tried once and had no luck moving around. It may have been super busy or my server may have been dragging. I love free!

I recommend the patter. It goes together beautifully and feels dreamy comfortable.

I've been meaning to try that same skirt pattern. I have a pretty busy fabric picked out for it too. Have you ever checked out burdastyle.com for patterns? It's kind of a pain in the butt to print out and assemble the patterns, but they are great styles and you can't beat free. Great verse by the way, a well needed inspiration on a friday afternoon.
