Even before finishing the “gathering apron” for Molly, I had plans running around in my head for a garment for me. I had hoped to begin at least laying out the pattern yesterday but never got to it. This morning as I was cleaning off the table where I cut fabric, I picked up a piece of the fabric used for Molly’s apron and thought of Rachel. The piece was just big enough to fashion a close to look-alike Mommy’s apron for her. So this afternoon instead of making something for myself, I made this for Rachel. I think she will be pleased.
Until next time…
My friend, I don’t know what you’re going through, but look and see if God is trying to direct you, inspect you, correct you, protect you, or perfect you. ~ unknown ~

That is so cute, Judy!
Thank you, Terri. I can’t wait to see Rachel model it.
Judy – Such a sweet, sweet apron.
Thank you, Kelly.
Rachel is a real girly-girl, and she’ll enjoy it.
My daughter has been carrying things in the skirt of her dress lately and yesterday i thought of making a gathering apron for her. Yours turned out great.
Hi Kathie,
That is exactly why I chose the “gathering apron” for Molly. Every gardener needs an apron for gathering. The threading system makes this skirt the perfect “container”. I hope to see a picture of your finished apron.
