A Saturday song and a reminder that “sometimes a person we love, through no fault of his own, can’t see past the end of his nose“. It’s important that we look past ourselves to see what is important. Life is never about us…when our focus is on ourselves, we become sorrowfully unhappy; life passes us by. Take time to focus on the needs of someone else without thinking of what it will cost you. Bringing joy to someone else or making another feel like the most important person within your focus will return joy to you…joy is like a boomerang…it always comes back to you.
Until next time…
Keep on trucking. (Remember when that was a popular catch phrase?)

Great Post and so true! When I was in school we had a saying that we would recite just about every day…
True JOY is putting J. Jesus first
O. Others second
Y. Yourself last
That sizes it up, Angie. Very well.
Without having watched the video I just need to say that your post was exactly what I needed to hear this morning. And yes, I hate to admit it, but I do remember when people said “keep on trucking.” Wastn’t it just last year:-)
