Hi Sarah, It’s been a long time since I made this blanket, and it was given away as a gift. I do remember adding a wide border. It may have been more than one round. I wanted it to have a really girly look to it.

Question: I’m making the tiramisu blanket right now but its going to end up SOOO small and I’m very interested in your border, did you completely do the tiramisu pattern (border and all) then add on with your own 2nd border???

No, Renee, no, no, no. The blanket took me probably four or five days and the border took me two to complete. I’m not sure where you got one day…either I typoed or you read wrong. I’ll try to backtrack and figure out if I typed it wrong. All in all it was about a weeks worth work of evenings.

Thank you, Angie. I have no doubt you could do a border like this. It is very simple. Somewhere I have an actual pattern written clearly (by someone else) for this border. I’ll see if I can locate it and pass it on to you to try.

That is so beautiful. I, too, love the ribbon and those scallopped edges. I would like to learn how to do those. My edges always look so unfinished.
