Hi Sarah, It's been a long time since I made this blanket, and it was given away as a gift. I do remember adding a wide border. It may have been more than one round. I wanted it to have a really girly look to it.

Thank you for visiting my blog.

lol, actually more thinking of going towards the mountains, like Loveland or Fort Collins. Now I KNOW you like that area, so you come over here and we will crochet to both our hearts content together ;) We could even start a club! We could be called the "Granny Hookers", rofl

Thank you, Faye. The pattern is simple. I could teach an easy study like you over the phone. Have you given thought lately to moving to Mississippi?

No, Renee, no, no, no. The blanket took me probably four or five days and the border took me two to complete. I'm not sure where you got one day...either I typoed or you read wrong. I'll try to backtrack and figure out if I typed it wrong. All in all it was about a weeks worth work of evenings.

Thank you, Angie. I have no doubt you could do a border like this. It is very simple. Somewhere I have an actual pattern written clearly (by someone else) for this border. I'll see if I can locate it and pass it on to you to try.

That is so beautiful. I, too, love the ribbon and those scallopped edges. I would like to learn how to do those. My edges always look so unfinished.

It's beautiful! I love it. You were right, the yarn is absolutely perfect for a special little baby girl. Your border is perfect. I might try yours on my next one. & it only took you a night? Amazing. I worked on mine for a month. :) I really, really love this, Judy!!
