DSH (dear sweet husband…adopted term used by Brenda for her husband…because it fits so perfectly):
This morning my dsh asked me to take some pictures of his arm so he could share them with a friend who lives in another state. I’ve intended to post pictures here…to solicate heartfelt sympathy for his current plight
jk…They are very colorful pictures and reveal just how challenging shoulder surgery can be.
One week ago…
Taken this morning…the date is off by one day. The bruising is a result of the capsular lining release. The doctor found extremely thick scarring when he went in. We saw before and after pictures, taken during the second surgery and the difference was phenomenal. His range of motion continues to increase…DSH is determined to regain full use of his arm…praising the Lord for the great progress he is making!
Now it’s time for me to get back in the kitchen and finish cooking.
Until next time…

Oh my goodness that looks so painful. Please let your dear sweet hubby know that he is in our prayers.
Wow wee!! Poor DSH!!! That is quite a hematoma! I am so glad he is doing so well. Keep doing the PT. You are both always in my prayers. Aren’t loving, Christian husbands just the BEST?
EEK! You both have my sympathies. This looks absolutely horrifying. I can’t imagine how he’s feeling… and now I understand why it has consumed so much of your time. I hope this second surgery will be his last. Poor thing.
