Thank you, Hollie. The block does not have the actual gold color in it, but it does have shades of beige. Depending how the block is held in the light a gold sheen appears in the brocade and one of the silk fabrics. Gold was the only thing in my trim stash that complimented the block. I’m considering removing piece of red lace, but I’ll look at it a bit longer before I decide.

Yes, indeed, my secret sister did me good. I hope what I sent was as pleasing to mine. I know I’ve already said that…but I do. For the life of me I can’t remember what I sent…exactly. I wish I had taken a picture of it to jog my memory.
