Sometime in the near future another round robin I am taking part in will start. It’s a Do Your Block round robin. Each participant makes six blocks and mails them all in one envelope. Each participant embellishes a whole block and mails all of them to the next person. When it is returned, one block will remain for the owner to embellish.
A couple of days ago I started making my blocks. I’ve got three of the six done. Each one is made using the same fabrics in a different pattern. My blocks do still need to be trimmed to square them up…but that will come when I have all of them made.

Hopefully I’ll get the other three made over the weekend. My goal was to have all six completed by Sunday’s end. I’m not sure when the start date for the round robin will be, but I want to be ready.
Until next time…
But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. Matthew 6:6

My favorite color combo. These are going to be beautiful. If you ladies get started in July it should be Dec/Jan when they all come home. Just in time to put spring in the air for decorating. So what will you make out of them?
Hi Judy!
I sure hope these pretties are for the “All things pretty RR” as they are gorgeous! I love the shabby chic look of them and my favorite colors to work with are pink/green – you know me – I’ve got lots of pretties to add to one of these. Looking forward to playing int he threads with you!
Hugs!
Yes, Nicki Lee. These are for the “All Things Pretty RR”. I adore tea pots and pretty floral china. These are some of my favorite colors, too…I can hardly wait to see what you do with one. I’m anxious for a start date and sent a message through WWCQ this morning asking about one. I’m really looking forward to it. Hope your day is going well.
Hugs.
Hollie, I don’t have the foggiest idea what I will do with the completed blocks. They do stand to be beautiful when everyone has put their mark on them. Five or six months seems like a long time to wait to get my hands back on them after they are mailed off. Good things come to those who wait.
I appreciate you stopping by!
Great – I have just the right pretties to use on your blocks. I got your One on One block today and love it… I’ll start working on it during the week and if you are a good girl I might post sneek peeks as I go along.
Hugs
I’m glad the One on One arrived safely. I always let out a sigh of relief when mail lands in the right place these days. Moving on to the sneak peek…with the stipulation of being a good girl I am probably out of luck. Try as I might, I fall short.
Just ask my mom. I’m just about ready to secure some pretty laces in place on your block…and start stitching the seams. I’m actually beginning to relax about it just a wee bit. I’m determined to have fun and stitch with love rather than nervous fear. Have you ever been there?
Hugs
