The only mushrooms we eat are the ones I bring home from the grocery store.  I have thought of trying to grow some edible ones but have never carried  through with it.   The ones pictured are all unknown species.  I wish I had  been taught to identify the safe ones.  I&#039;ve found identifying them at all  is pretty tough using the internet as a resource.   I did learn that many  lichens have medicinal uses or are used to make dyes.
