Crazy Quilting International has a quarterly challenge. I took part in the current one, the third quarter challenge, and finished my block last night. The challenge was to complete a block using the embellishment elements pictured below. All the materials were purchase in the tiny country of Moldova.
Placing all the elements within one block in a way pleasing to the eye turned out to be more difficult than I expected it to be. Hopefully I achieved it…I did my best to pull it all together.
Here’s what I came up with…
Until next time…
Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. John 20:21

You did an amazing job with some terrific elements, congratulations on a job well done
Judy, It’s beautiful! I can imagine that the multi-colored floss was fun to work with. It looks like it has a beautiful sheen. Now I have to Google Moldova, since I have no idea where it is!
Thank you, Lennie. You are always so supportive and positive. I appreciate that in you! Thank you for being faithful in stopping by and leaving a comment. That means a lot, too.
Always, Judy
Hey Stephanie,
Thank you! I appreciate your kind comment. The thread we worked with was a different texture than any I have worked with before. It felt coarser and did not tangle as freely as some of the others.
I had to look Moldova up, too, when I first heard of it. I don’t suppose I had ever heard of it either.
Thank you for stopping by…always a pleasure.
O, and I still plan on answering the questions in your last email…just haven’t managed to get to it.
Judy
You certainly DID achieve your goal of making them work together in a pleasing manor! WONDERFUL job with some very unusual elements.
Thank you, Kathy! And thank you for stopping by. See you soon!
Judy
