When everyone was standing in line to pick up their photogenic genes I must have been out back fishing or something. I got none of that quality…but I am getting thin again and am so exited about it!
The outfit I am wearing is an unlikely “favorite” for anyone to have, but it is ultimately comfortable, and I love it to pieces and will wear it until it’s a rag. This morning I mustered up the courage to try it on after stepping on the scales. It fit! Hoorah! It fit! I’m still not as thin as I plan on being…but I am well on my way. If you are working on dropping unwanted pounds, don’t give up, don’t be discouraged; take each day one at a time and stay with your plan. If I can do it…you can.
Here’s me then…
and here’s me now.
I feel so much better now!
This morning at my embroidery club meeting, I learned what a “wing needle” is and does. That added knowledge alone made the trip into town worth the gas I burned. Cool effects can be achieved using one.
Time for me to get moving.
Until next time…
remember…
We can stand affliction better than we can prosperity, for in prosperity we forget God.

Wow, look at you shrink, gorgeous!
You are always so kind! I love that about you. 🙂
Wow….You look fabulous!!! I have an outfit, that I will wear until it is in rags also. It’s a long denim skirt that is too worn to wear out in public…I look like a hobo. But it is so comfortable. … Anyway…Yeah for you! Keep up the good work!
Thank you, Angie. I appreciate your encouragement. 🙂 Early this morning I was rooting around in my too full of clothes that don’t fit me closet and found one more outfit from thinner days that is still too small. Now I’ve got a new challenge and goal. Once I can fit into it, I’ll call the weight loss quits. In the old days I had a tendency to be too thin. I’ve still got a ways to go…slow and steady.
Judy You look great! If you keep that up you will be a string bean in no time. Just do me a favour o.k? Stop sending the weight your losing to me!
