Our chickens are six weeks old now. Time flies…and the chickens try really hard to. Their tiny little chicken personalities are beginning to develop. The gray unknown exotic is starting to really show his roosterness. We’re beginning to think he may be an Ameraucana. I hope one day we can be sure. If anyone who reads this has any input on the breed of the gray chicken, I’d love to hear your thoughts.
Most of the chickens aren’t so chicken around me anymore. They’ve gotten accustomed to me entering their territory and taking care of business. They love it when I bear gifts.
Until next time…
One thing you can learn by watching the clock is that it
passes time by keeping its hands busy.
Oh the chickens are a great color and about the quote at the end of the post, it’s motivating me to get off my duff and go out for a morning walk….
I’m enjoying the chickens so much…color and behavior. As for getting off my duff…I don’t wannnnuuuuooooooooo. 😀
My husband keeps promising me that he is going to build a chicken coop…me and the boys can’t wait!
Awww Jen, I hope he makes good on his promise soon. Chickens are so much fun to watch, and fresh eggs can’t be beat…well they can be beaten…and the difference is amazing. Good to see you!
