It’s been several days since I made a blog entry. I’ve neglected my blog while being very busy around our house. It seems the more I do, there more there is to do. Does anyone else have that reality? My friend Rosie called me today to see if everything was ok and to let me she missed me. Thank you, Rosie. It’s little things like that make us feel special.
Speaking of special, I received a darling little needle sharpener “pin cushion” from my friend Belle. It’s so sweet, I’ve got to share a picture.
I’ve been in a bit of a creative funk ever since Gustov was in the Gulf of Mexico. To be on the safe side I packed all my machines and other sewing room breakables up, and the unpacking has taken forever. Creativity and chaos don’t mix well for me so I’ve been in a slump. Yesterday I finished an apron my daughter started. She has decided sewing is not her bag…I told her since the apron was one of my favorite styles and I love roosters, she should just let me keep it…she didn’t see it my way. I did get a picture of it before she took it home. (My camera is on it’s last leg and the picture didn’t turn out so great.)
Finishing Seta’s apron was just the push I needed to get the old creative juices flowing again. 😀 I’ve got a Sashay Skirt IJ778 started for my granddaughter now. I’m still cutting it out, but once it’s cut sewing it will be a breeze.
That’s it for now…life is calling and my stomach is growling. It’s time for me to get into the kitchen.
O…before I forget. I missed my 100 post mark and am heading for the 200. My 200th post will be a giveaway announcement. I’ve not made up my mind what it will be, but I’d love suggestions. Make sure you check back in from time to time so you don’t miss out on the chance to win what ever it is I give away. 😀
Until next time…
Words–so innocent and powerless as they are, as standing in a dictionary, how potent for good and evil they become in the hands of one who knows how to combine them.

Lovely apron. I have noticed that a couple of my blogger friends had been away for a couple days, I hope they are ok, and I glad you are. I am just getting out of my creative funk. I decided to do a giveaway, if you want to check it out.
I will look forward to yours! Have a great weekend!
So glad you are blogging again Judy. This is one of my most favorite stops in the morning. Happy to hear you came through the hurricane alright. That apron is very cool!
