We will be voting as soon as Nick gets home from work.
I hope that there is an overwhelming turnout of Christian voters that will make their voice heard and vote their beliefs. I know I am.
Well my vote wasn’t enough and I’m so sad over it all really. I was at work when it was announced and I could hear the college students hooting and hollering OBAMA YES! WHOO HOOO HE Won ! Yeahhhhh!
I’m sadden by how many were deceived into getting him in office and I fear for the future like never before.
In his victory speech Barack Obama said, “And to those Americans whose support I have yet to earn, I may not have won your vote tonight, but I hear your voices. I need your help. And I will be your president, too.”
Karen, so right…Mr. Obama will be our president, too. He will have my prayer support…there is no greater way for me to help him as he leads our country.
Jayedee…I understand what you say…and I, too, agree with you 100%. We can be sure of God’s promise even when we don’t necessarily understand how He works. All things will work for good and according to His plan.

Have a great day!
Angie, I agree with you 150%!
I’m clinging to my guns and faith…
and know without reservation God is in control…
even of elections.
He appoints the powers that be…

Laurie,
God is in control.
He knew the outcome before we did…
“Let not your heart be troubled…”
“Fear not…”
“…for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”
“And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.”
“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
I’m going to continue to cling to my faith and hopefully my guns…
Romans 8:28 remains true.
Now it’s our responsibility to pray for president elect Obama.
Biblically.
In his victory speech Barack Obama said, “And to those Americans whose support I have yet to earn, I may not have won your vote tonight, but I hear your voices. I need your help. And I will be your president, too.”
i’m somewhat saddened by the results, but i think i’d have been saddened if the vote had gone the other way too.
you’re 100% right–God IS in control and i trust that all things will work for good.
