Huh… never knew there was that much about chickens to know. My sis was the one who judged poultry in FFA. 🙂
Thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting.
I’m really enjoying my chickens! Their home isn’t finished yet but they seem very happy. Last night Robot slept so high up in our oak tree we could barely see her. We weren’t expecting them to do that!
Aww, Donna…the list could go on an on. There’s a lot to learn about chickens. They truly are fun and wonderful creatures.
Jen, I’m glad you’re enjoying your chickens. They definitely add a little “simpler way of life” to an otherwise complicated life. Lots of chickens roost in trees if they have access to them. We have to keep ours in a large, covered, enclosed area to protect them from predators. If we didn’t hawks, fox, bobcats, owls, coyotes, and stray dogs would pick them off one by one until we had none. It happened to our last flock… 😦 Y’all keep enjoying your girls… No rooster, right?
ahhhhhhhhhh chickens! chickens, for me, are better than prozac! i absolutely adore my girls…..their misters? not so
much, but i find them tolerable lol
