Troubled waters cleanse the garments best.
sounds like a great list. I would really like to learn to knit. I like to be able to have something to keep my hands busy when I’m not sewing.
Nick’s Aunt has milk goats. When Alex was a baby, I was trying to wean him off from breastfeeding and found he was allergic to formula, so we tried goat’s milk..no problem. He loved it. After he turned 1 we switched to cow’s milk, but that goats milk sure saved the day!
woohoo! what a GREAT list!
good for you!
GReat list – I’m already doing #7 and hoping to do #13!! LOL
Angie, it will take a miracle for my DH to change his mind about getting a goat…but I’m hoping.
Pat, I’m doing 7, too…and already have two unfinished quilts to in the quilting stage. The China thing has become increasingly bothersome to me. I wish I needed nothing imported from there…and am suspicious of much of what comes out of there.
I enjoyed your list. Years ago I’d wanted a milk cow. My husband asked if the cow needed to be pregnant. I said, umm, I don’t think so-that’s why they’re MILK cows. I was wrong. So then I decided I’d like to have a neighbor w/ a milk cow. Tho I still want chickens of my own, and have been THOROUGHLY enjoying following your chicken & egg posts.
Another year my resolution was to try one new recipe a MONTH. I think I made it for eight months. I hadn’t realized I tried so few new things! Found a couple of keepers, so it was a worth it.
Putting up my christmas stuff I noticed on the bottom of a snowman cookie jar it says ‘handmade in china’, not just made, but handmade! and I thought, this isn’t quite what I think of when I think buy handmade. . . I too am going to try and buy closer to home this year.
I look forward to reading and seeing your creations (culinary and textile)!! Happy new year Judy!
