I’ve been promising a giveaway on this blog in the near future for a few days now, and eventhough this is my giveaway, it’s not the giveaway I’ve been promising so continue to keep an eye out for that one. I’m still deciding what to do for a spring giveaway and will announce it soon, but this idea came to me this morning, and I’m going with it.
Carrying around extra pounds is a distressing thing to us ladies. There are multiple diets and programs, gimmicks and scams, advertised to outsmart our fat cells and drop those discouraging pounds. Most of these methods just pad the pockets of those who sell them. Alli is different. It works if used according to the directions. I’m giving away a starter kit of 90 capsules to someone who comments on this post. Before commenting please read the rest of this entry carefully.
To enter this giveaway leave a comment telling why you would like to have this product and what you have done in the past to lose weight. If you don’t need to lose weight but have a friend or loved one who would be blessed by this prize leave a comment telling what you would do with the Alli if you won it.
For an extra chance to win, advertise this giveaway on your blog and leave a link to that post here. If someone visits this blog and leaves a comment telling they heard about this giveaway via your blog, each of you will be given an extra chance to win.
Rules…you must be 18 to win. Leaving a comment implies that you are.
Giveaway closes at the end of March 31. Comments must be made before 12:00 A.M. April 1, 2009 Central time. I will announce the winner later that day.
Until next time…
Accept correction as direction. ~ unknown ~

LOL @ Faye!
Hi Judy!
What an interesting give-a-way…I will throw my hat in the ring. And you do know that I’m over 18 right..LOL.
Lots of reasons that I wanna lose the weight, I was doing so good, I don’t know what happen. I haven’t been feeling all that great and come to find out its been my gallbladder. I will have it removed next week and I’m hoping that I can get another jumpstart on my weightloss. And too, I’m so ready for SPRING.
Hope your doing well!
I lost over 100 pounds by walking, then because of RA, my left knee gave up. Because I am disabled I am not eligable for just going and having a knee replacement like people with private insurance can do – I have to go through hoops and checks and balances.
In the meantime I have to rest – and rest some more. In the past year I’ve put back on 50 of the 100+ pounds I originally lost and I am so depressed over it. Nothing I do seems to help.
I finally have had the last of the test shots to determine if the shots will work to fix the knee to prevent knee replacement, and guess what? Nope it still is too painful for me to resume my walking. So it looks like surgery. But… until I can lose weight no surgery and no knee replacement and how can I lose weight if I can’t exercise and all I can do is rest the knee? I’ve been trying but the knee pain is enough to make me cry and I am not a person who cries easily if at all.
I eat very healthy, but being sedantry after being active anyone will gain weight. I need some extra help to get enough weight off me so I can have the surgery, and then get back outside and back to the walking routine I had. I was even going to the YMCA for fitness training 3 days a week before this happened.
I will post your link in my Yahoo group here:

and hopefully others will come and read your blog. I’d love to learn how to blog – I saw your blog on my group – but when would I have time with all the other groups I have to take care of?

Hi QT, so glad you found this post. I had begun to wonder if anyone was going to be interested.
Hello Ila, welcome. So glad you dropped by and I hope you come again. Weight loss success can truly be frustrating. I’m convinced it requires complete lifestyle change with no turning back. I, too, lost weight and put it back on. Your name is in the pot now. As for blogging…there is not much to getting started and fine tuning can be learned as you go. I really like WordPress…but it’s the only provider I’ve tried.
