For Today…April 13, 2009
Outside My Window…the sun is shining after a night of deluge proportion rain. All my vegetable and herb plants are well watered and happy. The air is fresh, crisp and clean.
I am thinking…how tired I am. The weather got pretty violent last night. Sleep was sparse.
From the learning room…
I am thankful for…the wonderful visit with my sister and her family on Friday and Saturday. They live in Atlanta and time spent together is rare. I relished in their company.
From the kitchen…I will make an early supper of chicken. I’ve not decided how it will be prepared or what will go with it.
I am wearing…comfy well-worn clothes I threw on when I took the dogs out to romp through the water pooled in our field after the rain.
I am creating…an uncluttered home, a new garden area, and assorted embroidery pieces in the evening while relaxing.
I am going…to buy chicken supplies and pay my DH’s truck payment in a little while.
I am reading…almost finished with Christy…and reading my Bible daily.
I am hoping…my sister and her family make it home safely and in good time.
I am hearing…Glenn Beck on talk radio.
Around the house…things that will go to a yard sale for the youth at church are pulled out and stacked up.
One of my favorite things…is watching birds at our feeders.
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week:: my DH begins physical therapy to rehab his shoulder this week. We’ll go three times a week. I hope to get to the post office to mail a couple packages on Thursday or Friday.
Here is a picture thought I am sharing…
Until next time…
