phone. When Cingular South got gobbled up by an AT&T merge, my DH and I changed our cell phone provider. Both of us settled for the “free” phone available with the plan we selected. It wasn’t much, and mine finally bit the dust. A couple weeks ago I made a trip to a Cellular store and picked out a new phone. I added texting (I had words to eat by adding texting), internet and picture-sending capabilities to my personal plan. The phone didn’t really cut it for me. Though it was a nice enough phone using it proved to be a challenge because of the small screen and standard, multi-letter button keyboard. Yesterday…the final day for switching for any or no reason at all…I made another visit to the store to exchange my phone for one that would work better for me. This time I made a much better choice. I traded up and got a Cellular Hint. The square screen is far easier to read even with my aging eyes. The full keyboard is way less tedious for a texting novice such as I :). The camera takes nice pictures. I’m tickled pink my new phone. Speaking of pink, I added a hot pink case with sparkles to help prevent scratches and reduce impact if I drop it. The shape is a bit awkward, but I’m getting used to it. It’s a sweet little phone. Take a look…
Here’s the added case….
And here’s a shot that shows what a clear picture it takes.
That big boy resides outside our “baby” chicken pen. This just might be the largest spider I’ve ever seen. It’s a cardinal sin to disturb garden-spider species around our house…they do lots more good than they do harm. We are diligent about locating it before we get too close to the chicken yard door.
My DH lifted his arm (with the help of pulleys) straight up today…he’s getting better mobility each day. We’re praising the Lord.
Until next time…
