Rarely do I find the time to share my thrift store finds anymore, but today my new book stash is perfectly coupled with teatime. On my last trip to the Salvation Army shop books were on sale. Never have I been able to resist a book sale so I browsed the shelves until I read each title and selected several to bring home. Among the books I found was a lovely little story…
I read it as I sipped a cup of very yummy Yogi tea from a lovely cup and saucier I brought home from a tea cup exchange tea party a few years back. Yummy and good for you! What a combination.
For more Tea on Tuesday visit Patty, Pat, and Kimmie (the home of Tea Party Tuesday).
Until next time:
If you are cold, tea will warm you; If you are too heated, it will cool you; If you are depressed, it will cheer you; If you are excited, it will calm you. ~ William E. Gladstone ~
Thanks for the “how-to” on making sweetea!!!!
I would love to do a teacup exchange!!! Interested? maybe we can get the other Tea on Tuesday gals interested (and Lennie!)
I’d be happy to. I love tea cup exchanges. We would need an even number of people.

The story “A Cup of Christmas Tea” is very dear, thanks for reminding me of it again. I must go on a hunt for my book in time for the holidays. Lennie
It truly is charming. Why am I not surprised you have a copy? Thank you for visiting my tea time. https://apronstringsandothertiesthatbind.wordpress.com
oh Yogi teas are all wonderful, aren’t they, the little sayings on the tea tag are always inspiring too!
such a pretty tea cup, I’ll have to investigate that story book!
a tea cup exchange sounds fun!
Hi Judy – sorry I missed your post earlier today 😦 …. I will include you next week as a “regular!”
That green tea looks great! A cell rebuilder – sounds really promising (wink)
Happy Tea! Happy Tuesday!
I love tea and a good book.
I would love to participate in a tea-cup swap if you decide to do one. Did you do your swap locally or did you ship them?
Angie asked if the swaps I’ve participated in were done locally or via snail mail. Locally. This will be the first swap of any type organized through Apron Strings. I think the surprise factor could make this one even more fun the local ones.
Thank you for adding me to the “regular” links, Kimmie. I’m enjoying taking part in the Tea on Tuesday. I can see where it could really catch on…especially with the cooler seasons upon us.
Patty, the book is delightful…a story with a message…an important message.
