These are pictures taken at different times over the past few weeks. I had intended to post them as they were taken, but life, being what it is, got in my way. All subjects are not actually “wild”, but since our entire grounds have become, it fits. All subjects are masterpieces from the Master’s hands.
The first few were taken shortly after a rain…assorted fungi.
Showy, vibrant colored, late-blooming, cypress vine. I introduced this vine to our property years ago with seed harvested from a pasture fence row. Now, a month after photo, it is in full, prolific bloom…
Hummers love these tiny red trumpet-shaped flowers.
“O what a tangled web we weave…” The handiwork of the misunderstood spider is amazing and beautiful.
A bonus second bloom on our chaste bush…it was a sparse bloom and completely unexpected. Loving lavender as I do it was a wonderful surprise.
To be continued…(I didn’t realize I had so many unshared pics.)
Until next time…a bit of truth to think about.
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14
