Seems like forever since I made it around for tea. I’ve missed it…and you.
Today I’m drinking a fruity Twinings with Black Current Tea. It’s decidedly different. There’s a hint of sweetness and a slight taste of tart dark purple grapes. It goes well with the reclaimed Moods of Homer Simpson mug I gave to my dear dad quite a few years ago. The mug brought many smiles to our family over the years as we served our sometimes sweet and sometimes grumpy dad coffee in it. Always lovingly. Always gently. Now the mug is mine to cherish as a small “Dad treasure”. Sipping tea from it this morning makes him seem closer…that’s the treasure.

Until next time…
You laughed too, and I understood for half a moment the full mystery of all that’s beautiful and good.
