Christen is the host of Tea on Tuesday this week and has chosen “urban art” as our theme. I’m sharing the “Hattiesburg symbol” as my subject. (Why a swan was chosen to represent this area I will never understand. I have to wonder if those who chose it understand the nature of the swan.)
The “swan project” was sponsored by the area urban development committee to heighten art awareness in our city. There were upwards of 75 swans scattered around our city according to the last count I heard.
As I put this post together I am sipping Herbal Revive by Twinings of London. I’m not particularly fond of it, but with “waste not, want not” in mind I will drink it till it’s gone. It’s not likely I’ll buy it again unless my unfortunate trait of forgetfulness sets in and I don’t remember I’ve tried it already. ~ sigh ~
I hope you’ve enjoyed my gallery of Hattiesburg urban art.

Until next time…
From the book, “Afternoon Tea at Pittock Mansion” Quote by Haddyr Leigh
If your tongue trips over ‘oolong’ and there’s no place for your spoon,
If you end up with your cookie on your knee
If dainty conversation leaves you speechless far too soon,
You need some help surviving Ladies’ Tea.
