My dear husband went to the mailbox yesterday morning and came back inside with a package for me. It was a Bingo prize on a sewing group I belong to and was filled with things I enjoy. Before I tell you about my “Any Day Is Tea Day Giveaway” I must share my made for me prize. Thank you, Lennie. This really is a super prize.
I had to start sampling right away…The Rooibos Chai was unique and delicious.
Now on to the “Any Day is Tea Day Giveaway”…

If your bloggy friend leaves a message telling me who told them about this giveaway, both of you will receive another chance. Use my giveaway button in your sidebar and get an additional chance.
You do not have to have a blog to enter. Only USA residents, please.
Deadline: April 12, 2010 10:00 A.M. Central
The chest is made in India. (Yea…not China.)
It’s lined and sectioned.
I’ve sampled two of the black teas since I brought my box home (I treated me to one, too.) and have enjoyed both. Leave a comment and maybe you’ll be the lucky winner and enjoy them, too.
Until next time…

I never really liked tea until I went to Ireland. I knew that the tea would be better than the coffee over there so I went in ready. By the time I came home a little over a week later I was so hooked on tea that I don’t even really drink coffee anymore. My mother’s cousin sent me home with a giant box of Lyon’s tea and I went through that in no time. I have found a lovely place where they make tea called the Portsmouth Tea Company and now I always get my tea there. They have every kind you can imagine. In fact you can order it on line but it is only about a half hour away so I drive there. I love tea now and make a pot two or three times per day. The next time I buy some I’m going to venture out into some green tea.
I love tea. Cold or warm. I have to have sugar. I know that is not good, but it is a must for me. Smile…. I really enjoy Stash they have one called Chai. Mmmmm it is nummy!
I made up a free download for a little tea cozy. You can find it along the side of my blog. It can be made using calico, if you would rather not use the wool.
Blessings, Linda

Some tea will be winging it’s way to you very soon.
I’m just about to have a cup of Chamomile Tea with honey as it is 2.30 am & I can’t sleep!!!
That really is a fantastic box of tea, what a great givaway.
Well I love tea. Both green and black. I like natural flavor over atificial flavors. Some I use honey others I do not. The honey I use comes from a small local farm and it’s raw. Sorry I don’t keep up my Xanga blog anymore cause I can’t pay for no ads. I also have a Blogger blog and it is no ads but that too has been neglected. I’m just not good at posting things.
Can’t you believe it I still look for a canister with loose green tea leaves. It was minty and tasted much like Sleepytime tea. However I’m trying to find out if eating it really was good for you when sick. I’ve heard drinking tea is good but my Mom would sprinkle loose green tea leaves over dry toast and pour hot water from kettle on it. That is what we had when we had upset stomach and diarrea. that and some times Ginger Ale or 7up.
Wow! What a wonderful give away! A beautiful box and the Bentley tea! Someone is going to be really happy! The funny thing is, my husband’s first name is Bentley. I always laugh whenever I see “his” tea! How cool is that?
I still remember the first time I ever sampled an “exotic” tea. It was in Seattle at the Pike Place Market back when rocks were soft. It was a steaming paper cup of Market Spice back when that was the only tea they sold. You could only get the loose tea from a big glass jar, nothing was pre-packaged. Kind of dates me just a little! I still remember how sweet and spicy it was – really a lovely, heart warming cup of tea. Unfortunately, all these years later I can no longer drink it – my system refuses to tolerate caffine of any kind anymore – and I really miss it.
[…] sure you don’t miss my Any Day Is Tea Day giveaway for your chance to win a lovely tea chest filled with assorted (very tasty) Bentley […]
I love tea and that is a fine chest full of it!
I LOVE boxes of any kind- and a tea box/chest would be a wonderful prize!!!! As much as I would LOVE to have that- I think Lori should get it for her husband!!!LOL Great giveaway and good luck to all!!!
More special tea moments than I can share here, but I made a very good friend over many afternoon cups of Turkish tea, which is brewed very strong and served in tiny clear glass cups with no handles. I now get my Turkish tea during Sunday afternoon lunches after church!
What a lovely gift! I drink tea everyday and I really like all kinds of tea – I drink it in the morning, in the afternoon and the evening – I like it cold or hot – I’d much rather have tea than coffee!
Hi Judy,
I love tea! My favorite tea memory is having tea parties with my mom when I was a little girl. She collects tea cups, and she always let me use a special one that HER mom gave her.
What an exciting giveaway! I hope I win!
Ooooh, this would make a great gift for my mom, she loves tea and the box would be nice to keep at work.
Oh lovely, Judy!
My fave tea memory is of some tea my friend recieved from her then boyfriend who lived in England. The tea was Japanese, I think, and it was smoked so it wasn’t something you sweetened or added cream too, but it was SO good, so mysterious…..

Hey yes i love hot tea. It is very soothing and calming after a rather stressful day. Raising teenagers alone at the end of the day a cup of hot tea and time alone with God is a charge that I gets me a charge I need. The alone time with God helps charge the spiritual needs that tea charges the physical needs.
I love to sit with my grandchildren and pour tea out of my little teapot & they love the tea cozy. After all my years, I finally learned how to make the perfect pot/cup of tea. I love Raspberry and Lemon teas!
I love drinking a cup of tea while reading a good book. There is something so comforting about it.
I also love iced tea in the summer…unsweetened. (I know, I’m weird) 🙂
Not weird at all, Angie. I never sweeten my tea…hot or cold. It’s good to me all by itself. Or then again…maybe we are both weird. 🙂 oxo Judy
I love tea. I cannot drink cofffee because it has too much caffeine so I enjoy tea. hope I win.
Thanks
I love visiting my husbands grandmother. Without fail, other members of the family always stop by to visit as well and we all sit around the big kitchen table talking and sharing. We sip cup after cup and it seems like the most wonderful activity in the company of family and friends.
