Pieced Purple Pincushion
Just taking a few minutes to share a pieced pincushion made for swap in a mixed media art swap group I belong to. (That’s a mouthful!) The top is made of two different fabrics pieced together. A yo-yo made using felted wool and a lining of one of the two top fabrics is centered on the top. A needle/pin sharpener (big purple berry) made of felted wool is attached by a finger-crocheted cord made of embroidery thread. The bottom is felted wool. I attached a tiny “made with love” charm to the berry for good measures. I hope the new owner will love it. I sure do.
Until next time…
