Tuesday rolled around again so quickly. All week I’ve pondered my Tea on Tuesday theme and what I would share. I had all but settled on “passion”…something we would all define differently in this diverse group. Tazo has a wonderful Passion tea with rich red color and a pleasing tart taste that would have highlighted my tea post. But “passion” will wait until another time. My sweetheart surprised me last night and took me out to supper just to give me a break from cooking.
We went to Red Lobster, and the first thing I ordered was hot tea. They serve Maryland Club Orange Pekoe Cut Black Tea…it’s not fancy but it makes a good cup of tea.
A visit to Red Lobster is not complete without a cheddar bay biscuit…or two.
We enjoyed a green salad while we waited for our entrees…mine with raspberry vinaigrette. My sweetheart had blue cheese. Truthfully I could have been satisfied with tea, biscuits and salad, but of course I did not stop there.
My darling enjoying a mouthful…not believing I was pointing a camera in his direction while he had a full mouth.
While we were eating our salads the regional manager stopped by our table to ask if we were enjoying our eating experience. He commented on how much my sweetheart looked like Willie Nelson. (This happens often…I guess he does favor Willie to some degree…but I just see my sweetheart when I look at him.) He says it’s because he’s been rode hard and put up wet too many times. Our meal was served and I was so enamored by “Willie” sitting across from me that I forgot all about taking a picture of my luscious stuffed flounder and baked potato. 🙂
As it turns out this tea post really is about passion and passion won’t have to wait until another time.
strong sexual desire: strong sexual desire and excitement
intense enthusiasm: a strong liking or enthusiasm for a subject or activity
So in closing I will share a cup of Passion in the beautiful teacup I received from Christen in the teacup exchange I hosted last year.

Until next time…
