This is a short post…just sharing the pincushion I made for a spring/bunny pincushion swap. He’s hand stitched, made from felt, and feeling hoppy. I used a tutorial by Hazelnuts. The tutorial was easy to understand, and the pattern pieces fit together like a charm. The only difficulty I had making this cute little hopper was my own issue…it nothing to do with the tutorial. When I tried to cross stitch the edges I was all thumbs and had a dyslexic moment so I used a whip-stitch instead. Hazelnuts’ pattern was based on a toy her grandmother made in New Zealand in the 50’s…very retro and truly sweet. All in all this little bunny was a pleasure to sit and stitch. Thank you, Hazelnuts for the use of your pattern and taking the time to make a how-to tutorial.
Until next time…
