I told Pat when I read her tea post it was doubtful I would make it for Tea on Tuesday today. I started thinking about my next mug of tea, and my stomach reminded me I had neglected to eat today. A tea brunch was the perfect opportunity to stage a tea post.
I figured I’d share the great deal I happened upon at Tuesday Morning just in case you live near one. Tuesday’s is one of the places I check out frequently for tea deals. They almost always have something that sounds worthy of trying. During my last two visits I’ve found Bentley’s in a tin…the first time around I bought one tin of Green Tea with Jasmine. It was so good I went back for more. You can’t beat their price. I hit pay dirt the second time around. I love Rooibos tea…and three different Rooibos had been added to the various green teas they had in stock. The tins are a great size for repurposing when they are empty.
Plain Greek yogurt is hidden beneath a cover of beautiful berries…no sweetener is necessary. My mug is filled with fragrant Green Tea with Jasmine. It has become one of my favorites. There is something especially soothing about the floral fragrance. The mug rug was sent to me by a lady in California. I’ve developed a great appreciation for the humble little mug rug. (I told you last week Art 4 Mail…button on my sidebar…is hosting a mug rug swap. Sign-up is open for a few more days if you are interested in taking part.)
If you love tea and would like to read more tea posts…or join in with a post of your own…visit Kim at Art in Red Wagons…the home of Tea Tuesday.
Until next time…
Tea, though ridiculed by those who are naturally coarse in their nervouse sensibilities…will always be the favored beverage of the intellectual. Thomas DeQuincy (1875-1959) Confession of an English Opium Eater
I love your quote! I guess I m the intellectual…haha! And the quote is from an opium eater, no less! You need to stop by my post…for similar reasons. I am going to have to head out to TJ Max to look for some of these teas. Oh, how I love bargains!!!
Very fun post!
Fondly,
Suz
Happy T Tuesday to you…your fruity yoghurt looks delicious Judy!
Good for you getting such good deals on things you enjoy…that is always fun!

I’m drinking green tea as I sit here this moment 🙂
We have a Tuesday morning’s near us, but I have never been in. I think I will now! I love your mug rug by the way 😉
Sorry I’m so late getting here. I had some computer issues today, which made it difficult to stay logged in. I’ve heard of Rooibos from several of the Tea Tuesday bunch, but never seen any in stores. I don’t live close to Tuesday Mornings, but the next time I am in that area, I will check it out. Thanks for the heads up. And those berries and yogurt look good enough to eat!
Glad you made it! I love Greek yogurt and yours covered with all those yummy berries and nuts looks awesome!
Happy T on T
~Dawn
Hey Patty, My yogurt was delicious…fresh berries make for a feast! Places to buy tea in Hattiesburg are pretty limited…that’s what makes Tuesday Mornings and their tea bargains so much fun to me. They get things that no one else carries. I probably over indulged with the Bentley’s, but it’s sealed well and tastes good. Hope you have a wonderful day. oxo Judy
O Kim, Tuesday Morning gets a little bit of everything…and there’s always something unique. It’s a great place to buy out of the ordinary gifts. I hope you enjoy your visit. After using a mug rug for a couple weeks my mug looks lonely without one. 🙂 oxo Judy
I understand not making it around to all the tea Tuesdays “on time”. I often have to spread my visits over several hours or even days. Sometimes I don’t make it all. 😦 Life has a way of getting into the way of our best intentions. I had to give Rooibos a couple chances before I decided I like it…now it’s one of my favorites, and I always keep it on hand. Many times Rooibos is not prominently printed on the package. Instead it’s referred to as “red tea”. Those that sell it here are few and far between…The berries and yogurt were superb…wish I could have shared. oxo Judy
Kim, I meant to tell you I started a shrub with blueberries and raspberries late yesterday afternoon. I used Eden’s apple cider vinegar with mother. I occasionally buy vinegar drinks at the little whole foods grocery store here in town. I’m looking forward to trying this…and am hoping I love it. Thanks so much for sharing the link. oxo Judy
Thanks, Dawn. Thanks for stopping by. Greek yogurt is one of my favorite foods…and the berries were like icing on the cake…but better for me. 🙂 I’m late so am wishing you a happy Wednesday. I’m so glad tea is great any day of the week. 🙂 oxo Judy
