My DH and I are celebrating our wedding anniversary today. Bless his heart, he’s at work, but I look forward to his return home.

Happy many years have you been married?
Hello ladies!
My DH and I have been married for 13 years today. This is a third marriage (I’m not proud of that fact, but it’s a reality) and a record for both of us. We got it right this time! Hallelujah.
I wish I could take credit for those words of wisdom…but they are not mine. I couldn’t remember for certain who they belonged to…but I’ll run down the source. I didn’t want to put “unknown”, because that guy gets way more credit than he deserves…LOL…and I’m sure I can find the name of that wise one. 🙂

Congrats! 13 years is a BIG accomplishment. I am on my 14th year. My second marriage. We can’t wait until we have been married 19 years and then 25 years. His parents made it to there 18 anniversary before divorcing and my parents made it all the way to there 24 year anniversary and then divorce.
Both families said we wouldn’t make it. And we have. We like to through it in there face….is that bad???

My parents were married 60 years ago today. They’ve stuck to each other like glue through thick and thin. My hat goes off to them…commitment like theirs doesn’t happen by accident.
Is that bad??? That’s not for me to say…but I’m sure it would be hard to resist doing. 🙂
We didn’t do anything this year. My DH is undergoing some pretty tough medical treatments and has to work to maintain insurance, so he came home feeling wiped out. I made no demands on him…and he’s been sleeping for most of the evening. This shall pass and next year we’ll do something special. 🙂
I’m glad you enjoy my blog. I’ve certainly enjoying blogging…and said at one time I couldn’t ever see having a blog. LOL…

Next month is our 20th anniversary…. 3rd marriage, same as you, as you well know. Some days he buys you a diamond, and some days you throw stones, rofl!
